Q) Why can’t I create a grove account?[]

  • You must be total level 500, and have premium
  • Go to settings, click create grove account
  • Must have 2 day old account to access trades

If it still doesn’t open, then go to the Google Play Games app, and open CherryTree through that

Q) How do I get a certain secret rare?[]

  • You must have the game open, not running in the background, to obtain all secret rares!
  • Head to the wiki and check out the requirements under the Secret Rares
  • The equipment must be the exact items / conditions listed or it will not work (i.e. You cannot use Max Cape instead of Cooking Cape to find Chefs Hat)

Q) My grove account won’t login when I open the game (will happen if you have loaded the game in an area with poor reception or no internet connection)?[]

  1. Exit and remove CherryTree from the background apps. (You may need to "Force Stop" the game depending on your phone. Make sure you save your game first!)
  2. Restart the app and tap continue adventure.
  3. As soon as you load in head to "Game Settings" and press "Create Online Account"

Q) My cloud save is old, or from a different device. How do I switch between devices?[]

  1. Restart your CherryTree App.
  2. Head over to Cloud Saves and press delete.
  3. Once done press "Continue Adventure" on the original device.
  4. Head over to "Game Settings" and create a new cloud save.
  5. Go to your new/other device, load up CherryTree and head to cloud saves.
  6. Refresh the cloud saves page and load your cloud save.

OR

Switching to a different device with properly sync'd cloud save:

  1. Save your game to the cloud, then close the app.
  2. Open the app on the second device, and then select View Cloud Saves
  3. Ensure the cloud save on the new device has the correct date and time.
  4. Load the save. Enjoy.

OR

If your NEW device's Cloud Save does NOT have the correct date and time - you must re-sync your google play cloud.
This is usually something that needs to be done after updates:

  1. DELETE the bad saved from the Google Cloud Saves on the NEW device first.
  2. Open the game back up on the OLD device.
  3. View Cloud Saves on the OLD device.
  4. DELETE the bad saved data from the OLD device's cloud save section.
    1. DO NOT UNINSTALL THE GAME OR CLEAR YOUR DEVICES CACHE AT THIS TIME. THIS WILL LOSE ALL PROGRESS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
  5. Close the game on the OLD device, and reopen it.
  6. Start playing on the OLD device as normal, then go to the Game Settings page and Save to Cloud.
  7. On the NEW device, close and reopen the game.
  8. Open View Cloud Saves on the NEW device and load the save you see there.

OR

On a NEW device that has just freshly installed CherryTree, and you DO NOT have the View Cloud Saves option:

  1. Start a new game on the NEW device. When you see Opulina's lovely face, close the game.
  2. Open the game on the NEW device again, then View Cloud Saves, and load your save.

Q) How do I get pets?[]

  • You need to be earning exp so just perform the relevant skill on repeat!
  • Attack, strength, defense pets require you to be in combat using that stance
  • For pets that require an active action (i.e. alchemy, cooking, firemaking), always perform the task at x1 so you don’t waste resources
  • The bottom 6 pets are so rare that not many people in game have as less than 5 people have found them. So don't worry if you haven't got them yet!

Q) For secret rares, is doing the skill at x1 or x100 better?[]

  • ALWAYS default to doing x1! (Doing at x100 only activates 1 chance per click, and wastes 100x the resources)
  • The exceptions are: anything done in Crafting can be done at x100, and when getting Ring Fragments from log burning with Sandy equipped (NOTE other log burning secret rares still need x1 only)

Q) Are autoclickers allowed?[]

  • Yes, and in fact are a pretty necessary part of the game. Macros, however, are not! Don’t know the difference?

Autoclicker:
An autoclicker is a basic automation tool that simulates mouse clicks at a set interval and fixed location. You configure how often it clicks (e.g., every 500 milliseconds) and where (e.g., coordinates like 400, 300). It’s useful for repetitive tasks in games or applications where timing is predictable and doesn’t rely on screen changes.
Example: Clicks every 0.5 seconds on a specific button, regardless of what’s on the screen.
In-game example: Spamming a craft or cook button to mass-produce items (e.g., cooking, crafting, alchemy).

Macro:
A macro is a more advanced automation tool that reacts to visual or logical conditions. Instead of blindly clicking, it can detect changes on the screen (like a color shift, image appearance, or text), then perform actions like clicking, typing, or following a sequence of commands. Macros often combine multiple inputs for smarter automation.
Example: Waits for a red dot to appear in a grey box, then clicks it instantly. May also type a key or navigate the mouse based on detected elements.
In-game example: Runs a safecracking routine automatically detecting when to click "break lock" and "generate new safe" it will follow the ball for you and do everything for you

Q) Best way to make silver?[]

  1. Mine iron ore
  2. Craft iron ore
  3. Craft steel bars
  4. Craft spiked shields
  5. Sell for silver

Q) How do drop rates work, and what do ELP affect?[]

  • ELP increases drops from rare → mythical, but reduces drop rates of uncommon
  • ELP does not impact the Kingdom of the Gods, or Shadow Realm
  • ELP does not affect Safecracking, Exploration
  • ELP now does affect secret rare drop rates (2% buff)
  • It does affect Fishing, Discovery & Combat (see above)

Q) Which items have set bonuses?[]

  • Set Properties
  • Farmour, Dragonhide, Mystic
  • Thief set reduces locks on safecracking by 1
  • Feroxi (enhanced only; must include sword & shield) has chance to activate rage mode and insta kill the next 10 enemies
  • Opulina improves gold from GTP to 30 with crown (15 with just top & bottoms), and a low chance to produce Etix (~8-10/day with GTP active)
  • Primal/SR: chance to drop slayer casket on Adamet task, low chance to drop SR gear on Adamet task

What to use/do X item for?[]

Gold Coins:

  • Invest your gold in the gold market if you haven't yet.
  • After Gold market you can invest in Wishing Well
  • Trading with other players for items
  • Boosts

How to do/get...?[]

Soul Gems:

Event Currency:

  • Just keep the game open when the event is on
  • Base currency rate is 20-30 every 60s
  • Snowflake top/pants each increase base rate by 50%
  • Bunny pet reduces timer to 45s
  • Party hats multiply event currency drops
  • Bday crown & loyalty crown 15x, Bonnet 8x (the Bday crown and bonnet double the special currency while loyalty crown triples it)
  • Clown mask 8x (and has 25% chance to gain same amount of gold when event currency procs)
  • Roses can gain event currency in combat  ; And Party Balloons double it
  • Black roses 5% chance for 150 currency, and a 1 in 750 chance to gain special event currency
  • Christmas jumpers have 20% chance every 30s to gain event currency ; Party balloons double it and Christmas pantaloons adds 50% extra
  • Red (25), Pink (50), Green (75), Blue (100)

Enhancement Ticket:

  • Purchase in event store for 50k event currency
  • Can gain about 8-10 / day when using full Opulina set with gold touch potion active
  • DO NOT buy enhancement tickets from challenge store (only ever buy combat boost)
  • Best way is with endgame Boosts "I feel Blessed" once you can consistently 1-3 shot the Elven King (it is possible to gain 400-500 / day this way with optimized gear), but it's expensive
  • Shadow realm drops from some mobs
