Combat Skills[]
Attack[]
Your Attack Level determines your attack speed, and your total attack power increases your hit chance against the enemy.
Base attack speed for all melee weapons is 1 hit every 2 seconds (2000 milliseconds). Attack speed is increased using the formula 2000 - (attackLevel *5), and at level 99 attack, melee speed is 2000 - (99*5) = 1505 milliseconds, or 1 attack every 1.5 seconds.
Using a Ring of Speed(or any other ring that boosts attack speed) increases the attack speed of melee weapons to 1 attack every 0.75 seconds (752.5 milliseconds).
Strength[]
Your Strength power defines how much damage you deal to the target, the higher your Strength bonus, the higher damage you deal.
It is affected by the damage bonuses gained from the armor a character wears, melee weapons, blessings, necklaces, rings, shields, cape bonuses, as well as combat bonuses from Base camp upgrades, Combat boost from the challenge shop, Wishing well bonuses and active potions that boost strength.
Defence[]
Defence provides a damage reduction bonus, the higher your Defence bonus, the less damage you take. It also determines your enemies hit chance, so you can avoid being damaged at all.
Health[]
Health is trained all the time, every time you gain exp in one of the 4 combat stances, you gain exp in health too. Your health determines how long you can survive, and how high damage you can take.
Archery[]
Archery is trained while using any bow.
Archery damage is determined by adding the damage of the bow + damage of the arrows + combat boost from the Challenge store, as well as all "hidden" Combat bonuses from Base camp upgrades (including the bonus from level 30 Base camp upgrade), as well as Wishing well bonus for Archery. Equipment that boosts overall damage also increases Archery damage (blessings, necklaces and rings)
Base speed of Archery is determined by the bow. Speed ring increases attack speed of Archery by 50%, and currently the fastest weapon in CherryTree is Kynosian bow with base attack speed of 1 attack per 1 second. That speed is further increased to 1 attack every 0.5 seconds with any ring that increases speed.
Bows are the only items that have a chance to do a Critical hit, which is determined by the type of bow that is used. Damage done by a Critical blow is +20%
Bow accuracy is determined by the type of the bow used, archery level and enemy defence. Formula is (Bow accuracy + (Archery Level / 2.0)) - (Enemy defence/ 600.0)
Combat Boost from Daily Challenge Shop[]
Combat boost can be purchased in the Challenge Store and gives a permanent +10 bonus to all combat stats (excluding Health). It is a stackable boost without an upper limit, and costs 5 Challenge points.
The permanent bonus of +10 applies to Attack, Strength, Defense and Archery.
Attack bonus gained from Combat boost do not increase attack speed but increase attack accuracy.
Strength bonus gained from Combat boost increases damage a character does. During combat, it will only increase damage done by melee weapons, but it will not increase damage of bows.
Defense bonus gained from Combat boost provides a damage reduction bonus and your enemies hit chance.
Archery bonus gained from Combat boost provides an increase in damage reduction. It does not increase accuracy bonus.
Health is excluded from the Combat bonus since there is no upper limit to the number of Combat boost points that can be invested in this upgrade.
